WHo are we?

The CU Triathlon Club is a diverse, student group at the University of Colorado at Boulder. We welcome all abilities, majors, and ages, and are a pillar of the club sports scene at the CU.

Each year we have upwards of 100 due-paying members who attend practices, participate in volunteering events, compete in team time trials, and simply enjoy time together.

Our team has won 18 national championships. Team alumni compete at the highest level of triathlon, whether it be ITU races or Ironman Hawaii.

Camaraderie and bonding are extremely important elements of the team and contribute to the team's steady increase in membership. From early morning practices to late night food runs, mid-week movie nights and weekend ice cream trips, the CU Triathlon is more than a team - we are a family.

The team is a home-away-from-home for many of us, and a place where we meet some of our closest college friends.

Mission

The CU Triathlon team’s mission is to create a community of students, triathletes, and friends of all backgrounds and skill levels that can support each other to achieve both training and personal goals. Through practices, races, and community events our team works to develop a love of triathlon by focusing on building healthy exercise habits and creating friendships that will last a lifetime.
